Chr. Hansen has more than 100 years of experience developing probiotics for the human microbiome. Therefore, Chr. Hansen is also a solid choice for us as a partner in the development of lactic acid bacteria. Chr. Hansen uses state-of-the-art sequencing to generate a closed genome reference sequence of the LGG™ probiotic strain. Genome results and sequences have been validated and validated by an independent third party. Chr. Hansen production strain has remained stable and genomically identical over the last 25 years. Nôgel lactic acid bacteria also contain the same patented LGG™ to the extent of 50%. The LGG^® strain has been described in more than 250 publications of human studies. Lab-based research has shown that the LGG^® probiotic strain has high bile and acid tolerance, which may be important for a probiotic strain to survive passage through the gastrointestinal tract and for its potential beneficial effects.
