The eye cream contains several separately clinically tested active ingredients such as Kakadu plum extract, which is the fruit with the highest natural vitamin C content in the world. Strong antioxidant effect (after 30 min +54% and after 24 h +79%), enhances the absorption of vitamin C, the formation of hyaluronic acid (+59%), strengthens the dermis and thereby improves the overall appearance of the skin, brightens skin tone, reduces skin redness and improves overall skin tone. A clinically tested blend of probiotic, green tea, caffeine and pomegranate extract helps reduce all signs of aging around the eyes, including wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles. It tones the skin for a more youthful appearance. The clinically tested and sustainably produced prebiotic xylitol helps to maintain the skin’s moisture level and maintain the diversity of the skin’s microbiome.
The eye cream also contains clinically tested tamarind seed polysaccharide. It provides immediate skin hydration (immediate increase in skin moisture level +59.2%) – more effective than hyaluronic acid, improves skin elasticity, reduces skin roughness (-27.6%), improves skin density (+7.9%) and reduces activity of an enzyme called ß-galactosidase (-21%, used as a marker of aging in the study). In addition, you can also find hyaluronic acid in the product. SOD, or superoxide dismutase – an enzyme that protects us from a radical called superoxide – definitely deserves a special mention. Reduces erythema or skin redness caused by UV radiation, neutralizes the effects of superoxide radicals, protects against harmful effects caused by the environment, enhances the protective effect of sun protection products and fights against photoaging.
Vitamin C eye cream is an oil-free product and is suitable for all skin types. Vitamin C evens out and brightens the skin tone, reduces the signs of aging, and good results have also been obtained with vitamin C in the care of problematic facial skin.

WHY VITAMIN C?

Vitamin C is one of the most favourite vitamins for dermatologists and for a reason! Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, which reduces the impact of free radicals causing oxidative stress that our skin faces every day such as pollution. These free radicals damage our skin and cause premature aging. Vitamin C is mainly used in skin care to clarify and even skin tone, reduce pigmentation, as an anti-age ingredient and to reduce imperfections (pimples).

We use Ecocert certified vitamin C stabilized form, ascorbyl glucoside, which is much gentler to your skin compared to other L-ascorbic acid forms. Ascorbyl glucoside is the best performing vitamin C form in clinical studies that has all three properties common to vitamin C: antioxidant and protection of free radicals, increase in collagen production, decrease in pigmentation. Unlike oil-soluble ascorbyl palmitate in case it was found in in-vitro studies that it may be even harmful in case contact with sun UVB rays occurs and which did not change to pure vitamin C when in contact with skin (did not rise the concentration of pure vitamin C in skin), in-vitro studies have found that ascorbyl glucoside is absorbed via skin and changes to pure vitamin C – the good properties come from here.

Apply a thin layer of eye cream (1 pump) under and around the eyes in the morning and evening after cleansing the skin.  As the product contains hyaluronic acid, we recommend tapping some water on the face to get the maximum benefit. Before night cream use vitamin C facial serum for best results. Use sun protection before going out to the sun.

Vitamin C collection includes also vitamin C moisturizing day cream, night cream and awarded vitamin C facial serum with Estonian nettle extract – all clinically and dermatologically tested and developed in cooperation with Tallinn University.

Store the bottle in an upright position. If the bottle has been on its side during travel, wait 5 minutes before using the cream. The airless bottle works optimally when stored upright.

During clinical trials, we analyzed the transepidermal water loss (TEWL) of test subjects and determined the level of hydration/moisture of the skin surface (Stratum corneum). In addition, a dermatologist performed a dermatological examination at the beginning of the study and 2 months after using the creams.

In summary, it can be said that during the two-month period, the skin hydration of the test subjects improved. Dryness, roughness and flaking of the skin receded, the skin structure became smoother and more even, and the skin became tighter. It was also noticeable that fine wrinkles became more superficial, spots became lighter, breakouts decreased and became less inflamed.

    My favorite eye cream. I had been waiting a long time for this product to be made. No matter how expensive or seemingly high-quality the eye creams I used previously were, I couldn’t really tell the difference between a 5-euro cream and a 50-euro one. With Nõgel’s eye cream, however, the fatigue and grayish tone—which tended to appear easily due to the delicate skin around my eyes—have vanished. Even fine lines that are visible when I’m not smiling have become barely noticeable because the cream provides such excellent hydration. It has a naturally pleasant scent, just like the day and night creams, and a lovely texture; it absorbs quickly without being too watery or too thick. It’s a fantastic cream that I’ll definitely keep using. The 15 ml bottle lasts a long time because you can dispense just a tiny drop at a time—after all, you only apply eye cream to the skin around the eyes.

    I saw “before and after” photos of an eye cream on social media (on Helen Adamson’s account) and wanted to try it out myself to see what it actually does. I was genuinely surprised; I’ve been using it for a while now, and the skin under my eyes no longer looks so tired and dull. Since I laugh a lot, I tend to get tiny fine lines under my eyes, and this cream has helped smooth them out. It has a lovely, lightweight texture, and you really need only a tiny amount to cover the area around both eyes. There’s no point wasting good product—a single jar lasts a long time. Women often forget to use a separate cream for the eye area, but since the skin there is incredibly delicate and thin, an eye cream is a real “must-have” in your daily routine; I use it both morning and evening.

    A really great eye cream! At first glance, the texture seemed quite runny (for an eye cream), but it actually moisturizes beautifully. A single pump is enough for the area around both eyes. I also really like the hygienic pump bottle (as with the rest of the product line). When traveling, I packed only an SPF cream for the day and the Nogel eye cream for day and night in my carry-on; it worked wonders for reducing under-eye puffiness caused by the heat.
