Vitamin C facial serum includes high stability Ecocert certified vitamin C, ascorbyl glucoside, which is much more gentle to your skin compared to other forms of L-ascorbic acid used in (natural) cosmetics. Strong antioxidants, natural plant extracts, tamarind fruit seed polysaccharide and hyaluronic acid help to diminish fine lines and protect your skin from premature aging, lighten dark spots and pigmentation by brightening skin complexion and offering plenty of immediate and long-term moisturizing.
Facial serum is oil-free and does not clog pores. Serum is based on organic aloe vera and organic Estonian birch sap.

WHY VITAMIN C?
Vitamin C is one of the most favourite vitamins for dermatologists and for a reason! Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant, which reduces the impact of free radicals causing oxidative stress that our skin faces every day such as pollution. These free radicals damage our skin and cause premature aging. Vitamin C is mainly used in skin care to clarify and even skin tone, reduce pigmentation, as an anti-age ingredient and to reduce imperfections (pimples, acne).
We use Ecocert certified vitamin C stabilized form, ascorbyl glucoside, which is much gentler to your skin compared to other L-ascorbic acid forms. Ascorbyl glucoside is the best performing vitamin C form in clinical studies that has all three properties common to vitamin C: antioxidant and protection of free radicals, increase in collagen production, decrease in pigmentation. Unlike oil-soluble ascorbyl palmitate in case it was found in in-vitro studies that it may be even harmful in case contact with sun UVB rays occurs and which did not change to pure vitamin C when in contact with skin (did not rise the concentration of pure vitamin C in skin), in-vitro studies have found that ascorbyl glucoside is absorbed via skin and changes to pure vitamin C – the good properties come from here.

ESTONIAN NETTLE EXTRACT
In co-operation with Estonian University of Life Sciences Estonian nettle extract was developed for the very first time from local organic wild nettle. The extract has been prepared at an optimal concentration that includes the highest amount of antioxidants and polyphenols.

When tamarind´s polysaccharide offers immediate moisturizing effect, the aim of hyaluronic acid is to offer long-term moisturizing effect.

Who?
Vitamin C facial serum is suitable for all skin types for young and mature skin for year-round use. The serum is ideal for 25+ skin care and for skin with imperfections. The product is water-based and does not clog pores.
How to use?
Apply a thin layer of product (press pump twice) to face and neck in the mornings and evenings after cleaning your face. As the serum includes hyaluronic acid, we suggest patting some water gently to your face after using the serum – to get the maximum effect! You can use a moisturizing cream after applying the serum. The serum includes also sugar molecules and right after applying the serum you may feel that your skin is a bit sticky – this is normal and goes away once the serum has been fully absorbed.
You can use the serum in everyday skin care or as courses. Vitamin C serums are especially popular after summer when there are signs of pigmentation and changes in skin tone caused by sun´s UV.

Different biomarkers specific to normal skin were analyzed during 3 weeks usage of vitamin C facial serum with skin molecular tests (transdermal analysis patch TAP) in order to evaluate possible skin irritation. A really long-waited product. I also try to avoid oils because of pimples and such water-based products are really nice. It looks like a lot of work has been put into the product. Very seldom you can see such thought-out and tested products. 🙂 Nice pleasant scent, I am not a big fan of essential oils. People like different scents so good that the product is unscented. Moisturizes really well, some time after the serum has been used the skin is really soft. Perhaps I should try using it without cream as it seems that the serum is already very efficient. First bottle in use, hopefully fresh signs of pimples will be reduced. But definitely a really nice product and a positive surprise! Thank you!

I am really satisfied with this serum! Results could be seen practically straight away. In the morning my skin was toned. I use it once per day in the evenings. My skin type is combination skin. The serum is absorbed straight away, and does not leave an unpleasant feeling on the skin. I have used only the serum, with creme and also with dry self-tan oil.

A really efficient serum. My pores have significantly been reduced, skin tone evened and overall, my skin looks brighter. After already 1 week of using it showed a nice surprise. I suggest 100%. Compared to other vitamin C serums, Nõgel´s serum advantage is its natural ingredients that stimulate the skin to do the job. All the other consumer goods serums have negatively affected my skin’s natural balance.

I have used the serum for 3 weeks. I have very dry skin, which is sensitive to the environment. Dry spots come to my face after harsch cold.
After applying the serum, the first thing I noticed was the pleasant scent. I feel the tonising effect on the skin straight after applying. You need to get used to it as the same feeling comes when I wash my dry face. But my skin has a nice bright look now. I will definitely continue using it to see if this serum really suits me and what is the maximum effect that I would be able to achieve. I also would like to thank the team, who developed that serum. I always have natural products as a priority 🙂 If you want to pick on something, it is the package. The serum is packaged into a separate package. It would be nice if you have a chance to select whether you want to have the serum only or with the package. First it was unusual how I should use it as the consistency is watery, but I got used to it quite quickly. The effect was seen quickly. I am 51 and my skin is not even anymore so this serum evened my skin tone really well – pigmentation spots got brighter and red spots in my face disappeared. It also made my skin very soft.

I have used the serum in the evenings and I noticed the positive effect already in the first morning, my skin was brighter and more even. In the beginning the slight sticky feeling after applying was a bit disturbing but this went away after a short time. I have combination skin and this serum has not caused pimples.
In addition I like that this serum contains the more stable vitamin C derivative (there are vitamin C serums that may not even give you any effect as they use unstable vitamin C derivatives that inactivate with light and air). I like that the bottle is airless and also protected from light.
Just ordered some more and will also give it to my mother as a present, who has not yet tried it because of the price.

At first the consistency was a bit unusual. It was so watery and I definitely had to spray it on the palm of my hand. I use it in the morning as the only moisturizer, after serum I don’t use any cream. After the serum I apply some water on my skin and the skin is left pleasant and soft. 🙂

I really like this product. In the morning my skin is bright and well moisturized, face looks bright even after a short night’s sleep. The content is light and unscented. Will definitely order more! I have used it together with cream but next time I will definitely try to use it only as serum.

The first bottle ended. The effect of the serum appeared during the first weeks, my skin tone changed to more bright and even. It also seems that my pores have been reduced. I used it together with cream, otherwise it felt like my skin was a bit torn. The watery consistency is a bit annoying as it makes applying the product a bit difficult. With the first bottle I didn’t get used to it so I wouldn´t drop any serum. As you cannot see how much serum is left, it was a bit of a surprise when it ended. Will definitely buy a new one. Interested to see how it works with my pigmentation spots that I get during the summer.
